The Norwegian Business Association (NBA) Korea was established in October 2002 on the initiative of the Norwegian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea at the time, Arild Braastad, as a meeting place for Norwegian business interests in Korea.
The objective of the association is to encourage co-operation within the Norwegian business community thereby creating a representative body serving Norwegian business interests in Korea. This is achieved through arranging events that provide fora for discussions related to matters of common interest and, through lawful means, exchange information between organisations that work with or represent Norwegian business interests.
It is important for the association that the membership is not only consisting of Norwegians, but also citizens of other countries who are engaged in business activities related to Norway in Korea. The association focuses on topics of mutual interest regardless of nationality.
We hope that the NBA Korea can be a place where Norwegian businesses who are looking for opportunities in the country can seek advice and learn from others who have experience from working and living in Korea.
